After a thrilling final Bayer 04 Leverkusen has won the tournament, it takes penalty’s to make the decision. The German site won it for the 8 time in 21 years.

Both teams West Ham United and Bayer 04 Leverkusen had play against each other in the group, this match was also 0 – 0 at the end. With the goalkeeper from Bayer 04 Leverkusen stopping the first penalty from a West Ham United player, was this enough for the winning of the 2011 tournament.

Also this year the best player of the tournament has been choices by a committee; Nashon Neufville from West Ham United received this trophy. Neufville in action in the final at the right.

Andreas Werum from FC Copenhagen became the best goalkeeper.

With a new logo the Wim Kuijpertournament went into a third decennium. Also this new website will be there to inform every visitor about our U13 tournament at the grounds of vv Vorden, the Netherlands.

At August 13th and 14th 2011 the 21th edition will be played. With a history since 1990 teams like Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Dinamo Kiev, Glasgow Rangers, Liverpool FC, Paok Saloniki, FC Twente, and Schalke 04 have been a competitor.

On Saturday, August 13, the box office opens at 09.00 and Sunday 14 from 08.30. Admission is free for youth up to 12 years. If you're older, you pay € 6.00 for a day ticket, parking will cost € 2.00 and via a route takes you safely to the entrance of the football accommodation VV Vorden.

During both days there will also focus on younger youth, a mini carousel and bouncy castle is there.

With a canteen in the clubhouse, an outdoor bar, ice cream and candy sales and a fries booth is no need to bring food. In short, the tournament is an event for the whole family!
